Why we recommend it
We visited Scream-A-Geddon during our anniversary weekend (My third visit), and this place absolutely delivered! We've experienced plenty of the big theme park Halloween events over the years, but we'd argue that Scream-A-Geddon's five haunted houses can compete with — and in some cases beat — what you'll find at the major parks. The biggest difference? Far less walking and a much more manageable crowd experience during our visit. Instead of spending the night trekking across a giant theme park, we could focus on what we actually came for: getting scared! Zombie paintball was one of the highlights of our night. There's something incredibly satisfying about taking aim at zombies, and it adds a fun, interactive twist to the usual haunted house experience. We also loved the carnival-style atmosphere, creepy characters, and opportunities to interact with the scare actors. For anyone visiting Central Florida during Halloween season, don't assume the biggest theme parks have the best scares. Scream-A-Geddon deserves a spot on your list, and we'd absolutely go back.
