About Our Stay

Ace was a great destination for our family. With the camp site just up the hill from the water features, this made it easy to stay on property for what we wanted to do. The food was great, including the award winning "Street Corn Pizza." The kids had a blast on the inflatables and zipline. Cocho Mountain was a great site as well!

"Starlink spotty, but pretty good overall. ATT and Verizon both alright."

What We Liked

  • On site water entertainment for the kids
  • Lots to do (ropes course, rafting, water etc)
  • Good food service
  • quiet and spacious sites

What We'd Change / Things to Know

  • Narrow windy roads on the way in. Beware if using a bigger rig

Campsite & Hookups

We had full hookups on a gravel pad. The stones hurt a bit on the feet, so recommend having a camp mat or rug to lay out

Family & Kid Notes

  • It was hard to pull the kids away from the water park. A half day pass was just over $20 a person.

Things to Do Nearby

  • New River Gorge Bridge is a must. We did the bridge walk and it was worth every penny.
  • Check out the Cocho Overlook on property. Such an amazing view!

Would We Stay Again?

Yes

Definitely. We would come back for more than two nights and explore the area.
