About Our Stay

We managed to phone in a booking with Thousand Trails and land a booking as part of our Camping Pass and Trails collection. This was great, as we only spent $20 per night to stay here! There is not much to do outside of the resort, but plenty to do and space to enjoy inside. They have multiple pools, water slides, mini golf (separate pay) and more. The staff was great and professional. The sites we had were in the middle and double size in the woods. It was truly a great place to stay.

Connectivity & Facilities

Starlink Performance3.0 / 5— Usable / Average

Our Starlink experience during our stay. Performance can vary by site, obstructions, weather and network conditions.

Campground Wi-Fi4.0 / 5— Very Good

Cell Reception

AT&T4.0 / 5— Very Good
Verizon3.0 / 5— Usable / Average

"We were in the woods, so Starlink was spotty. The WIFI was good enough to watch tv. ATT was noticeably better than Verizon for cell service."

What We Liked

  • Huge campsites under a nice canopy
  • Great pool area with waterslides for the kids
  • Laundry worked well for us
  • The staff was among the top 3 we have encountered on our trips

What We'd Change / Things to Know

  • There is not much to do in the area
  • They do NOT sell alcohol in the store on property. There is an IGA down the street.

Campsite & Hookups

We had a full hookup site in the woods. Mostly gravel/dirt, but great and huge. It was basically two sites. Starlink was so so with the trees, but they had good wifi on site.

Family & Kid Notes

  • This is a top 5 for the kids because of the water features

Things to Do Nearby

  • Not much. Tiny town. Mexican Restaurant to the left was good. IGA got the job done.

Would We Stay Again?

Yes

Definitely. At $20 a night, this is a steal.
