Camp Margaritaville Resort Orange Lake

We saw another post on this place and decided we had to try. Our normal go to resort is Canopy Oaks, and this was about the same distance the other way. We packed up after school on Friday and headed up for the weekend. We arrived after hours and they didn't have our packet, but the team was great and escorted us to our site. We booked a standard (cheapest) back in site. We were VERY close to the amenities and the area was nice and open. This is a no trees area if that bugs you. The site was not level, and we needed two blocks under the front tires to level the rig, but easy enough. The waterpark was the reason for the trip, and it didn't disappoint. They have four big slides, a kids splash area, a large family pool, a lazy river, a second splash area and two additional swirly slides. They have a full kitchen and several bars, ice cream shop and arcade. They also have a gift shop with plenty of necessities. They do sell day passes in the off season, so most of the crowd was local, but still not too crowded. We are looking forward to coming back again soon!

• Not much shade besides the outside. Just a note if that is your thing.
• Pool closed at 8 (mid august). This seems a bit early, but not end of world.

Site 241 was a standard back in. Close to the amenities and pool. No rear neighbors, we needed several blocks up front to level our rig. Plenty of space.

• The kids swear that Riylee and Daisy are the best slide attendants.
• Six water slides, Lazy River, multiple kid splash sections, big resort pool.

• Not too sure. Lots of horses.

We've stayed here once.
