About Our Stay

This was a stopover on the way to the Keys, but could be a destination of its own. We used Arvie to secure a spot, and couldn't be happier. The park itself is huge, with tons of trails for biking, ebiking and hiking. The Brightline runs through the park (not next to the sites) and is really cool to see the train blow through! We took a trip over to Blowing Rock Park, which is over by all of the rich homes (Tiger Woods). Such a great experience and something you'd expect up north or on the west coast.

What We Liked

  • It was a huge park to explore on the E bikes. Seeing the Brightline come through was a cool bonus for the train geek in me

Campsite & Hookups

Very level rock/shell site with a HUGE living area. Pretty tucked in the palms. Not much shade, but it is Florida Coastal.

Things to Do Nearby

  • Be sure to visit Blowing Rock Preserve. The drive is awesome, but the landscape is wild!
