Why we recommend it

This was such an amazing experience. Maddie almost made it and had to turn around shortly after starting, so Mom went with her. Joey, Shianne and Dad made the journey across and consider it a core experience in our travels. Worth every penny!

About this place

This is a guided and safe tour across the underside of the New River Gorge bridge. You are strapped up and bussed down to the visitor center (3 minutes). You take a short walk down to the base and get strapped up to the safety cable. Once everyone is in, you work your way across to the other side, with multiple stopping points along the way. After you finish, they bus you back to the lot.
