Pier 68 Boat Rental

Layton, Florida

"Our charter flight got canceled, so we rented a boat instead. It turned into one of our favorite days in the Keys."

Why we recommend it

This wasn't even our original plan. We had a Tortuga charter flight booked, but when it was canceled, we called Pier 68 and rented a boat for the day instead. The service was great, the process was easy, and before long we were out exploring on our own. We found beautiful shallow water and sandbars where we could anchor, swim, and basically spend the afternoon doing absolutely nothing — in the best possible way. If you're staying at Fiesta Key or nearby and are comfortable operating a boat, this is an awesome way to experience the Keys from the water. We'd absolutely do it again.
