Why we recommend it
We ate at Square Grouper with friends while staying at the Sugarloaf Key KOA, and this place completely won us over. We've eaten at a lot of restaurants while traveling, and Square Grouper has legitimately worked its way into our top five anywhere — not just in the Florida Keys. The food was that good. It manages to feel casual and completely at home in the Keys while serving the kind of meal we'd go out of our way to have again. Whenever we're back in the Lower Keys, this is going to be a must-stop for us.
