Catawba Falls

"A beautiful waterfall hike through the mountains near Old Fort—even if you don’t make it all the way to the top."

Why we recommend it

The Shinpaughs recommended this hike to us, and we had a great time walking the trail as a family. It was cold during our visit and we didn’t make it all the way to the top, but the scenery along the way still made the hike completely worthwhile.
