"Great short hike to a majestic waterfall! "

Why we recommend it

While it burned, it was worth seeing the views. Great hike for the kids with plenty of breaks on the way back up.

About this place

This was right on the NC/SC state line and about 7 miles past Gorges State Park. It is about a .25 mile walk from the parking lot ($3 pay box for being on Federal Land) and 144 stairs down (and back up). Such an awesome view!
